Halloween is one of our favorite holidays at The HD Group. Greg is a lifelong fan of horror movies and loves getting into the spooky spirit of Halloween each year. This is always a fun time of year in Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley. There are so many festive events and activities happening just about every night in October. One of our favorite community events is Carved, which is hosted at Descanso Gardens. We are supporters of Descanso Gardens and events like this help bring the community together in positive ways.
About Carved
Carved is an annual celebration hosted at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge. This year, it is happening from October 7-31 with multiple entry times available each night. This is a favorite annual Halloween tradition for San Gabriel Valley locals and area visitors.
The 2022 event will be bigger and better than ever before. Descanso Gardens is adding a number of new activities for all ages. The main attraction will always be the array of carved pumpkins that line the Camellia Forest as you walk through the park. This path is usually more than a mile long and features some truly amazing Jack-O-Lanterns and unique artwork carved into pumpkins of all shapes and sizes.
Other Attractions & Family Fun
In addition to the pumpkin path, there will be other popular attractions at Carved. This includes the famous pumpkin house, hay maze, games, prizes and holiday-themed food and beverages. There will also be several really cool UV “black light” experiences and artists on site sculpting pumpkins in person. The Amphitheater will also be displaying a special Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead installation that everyone will enjoy.

Reserve Your Tickets Now
Daily entry times for Carved are available every half-hour between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. Tickets can be bought in advance. Descanso Gardens members pay $20-$26 depending on the night and time. Tickets for non-members are available for $32-$38.
